Harry Redknapp has backed Birmingham's £2m deal for West Brom loan star Craig Gardner.

West Bromwich Albion want to sign Craig Gardner from Sunderland. The 27-year-old midfielder is out of contract in the summer but Albion chairman Jeremy Peace might make a move this month.
