West Ham have upped their bid for 31-year-old striker Grant Holt to £6m and hope a £4m payment up front will convince Norwich to sell.

West Ham are interested in £4m-rated striker Yannick Sagbo from French side Evian. The Ivory Coast international, 24, was originally a January target for Sam Allardyce, who has also made an offer for Norwich's Grant Holt and a loan move for Inter Milan's Dutch forward Luc Castaignos, 19.
