Liverpool are set to offer Everton £63m plus £7m in add-ons for their England defender Jarrad Branthwaite, 22.

Manchester United are planning a fresh bid for Everton's 22-year-old English defender Jarrad Branthwaite - after learning their new signing, French 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro, is unlikely to play again this year.

England defender Jarrad Branthwaite, 22, is intending not to sign a new deal at Everton unless they can match the £160,000-a-week being offered by Manchester United.

Manchester United are expected to return with a third bid for Jarrad Branthwaite after Everton rejected a second offer of £45m, plus £5m in add-ons.

Manchester United will hold a meeting about transfers on Monday which will include a decision about whether to make another bid for 22-year-old Everton and England centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.
